Large 19th Century French Guéridon/Centre Table
An Unusual Large 19th Century French Guéridon/Centre Table.
This table has a beautiful grey and white veined marble top with edge moulding and circular shape which is supported on a plain frieze veneered in walnut of fine figure and colour. The stem of the table is spiral fluted, set upon a leaf carved collar. Below this is a bulbous pedestal with wide concave fluted sections and this is flanked by three beautifully carved dolphin figures, set upon the outspreading platform base. The piece terminates in small bun feet.
