Late 19th Century Oak Panelled Cabinet
An Unusual Late 19th Century Continental European Oak Panelled Cabinet Circa 1880-1900.
Of tall architectural form, the two part cabinet features geometric panelled doors and sides, finely moulded framework and carved rosette details, surmounted by an unusual pierced Gothic style gallery with pointed finials. Constructed principally in oak with pine secondary timbers, the cabinet retains a warm, richly aged surface and attractive patina.
A distinctive and highly decorative piece of late 19th century furniture.
