18th Century English Oak Cabinet
A good quality 18th century English oak cabinet. The upper section with a moulded cornice above a pair of panelled doors, opening to reveal a fitted interior of pigeonholes, shelves and small drawers. The lower section with a brushing slide above three graduated drawers, retaining brass handles, and raised on simple, reeded block feet.
A well-proportioned and unusually good quality example, constructed from well-selected oak throughout and retaining a superb rich, mellow colour. Heavy in weight being solid oak.
