A Handsome Pair of Early 19th Italian Century Italian Cherrywood Commodes.
The commodes have edge-moulded overhanging tops of good figured timber and the drawer fronts have high quality figured timbers, of excellent colour There are three drawers with brass escutcheons and ebonized drawer pulls. The lower apron of the pieces echoes the shaping of the moulded top and each commode stands on turned, tapered baluster legs.
