Set of Six Early 19th Century English Regency Dining Chairs
Set of Six Early 19th Century English Regency Beech Dining Chairs.
Constructed in beech and are mounted in brass, including the inset handles in each top rail. There are further elaborate mounts to each back rail, to the centre of the splats and to the seat rails. The mounts incorporate flower head detailing and are good examples of regency period decoration.
The seats were originally caned and have been over upholstered many years ago.
