18th Century French Oak Side Cabinet
An 18th Century French Oak Side Cabinet with Two Doors.
Of Louis XVI period, this cabinet is practical piece of furniture. It has been constructed in figured oak of fine grain and mellow colour. The two doors have fluted detailing and panelling and behind them are concealed a pair of small drawers and some cupboard space with a single shelf. Standing on tapering square sectioned front legs and has panelled sides.
It has a mellow colour and good proportions.
