17th Century English Oak Dresser Base.
This dresser base has three paneled drawers, with drop handles and cast escutcheons. The top is of planked construction with a low rail at the back. It stands on six legs, the front four baluster turned, the back two legs plain and square in profile. The timber is of excellent quality with a particularly good colour and patination throughout.
