An 18th Century English Oak Dresser Base of Exceptional Colour.
Of late 18th century date, shown by the Sheraton-type plate handles, this fine dresser has an overhanging top with edge mouldings above three equally-sized drawers. It stands on typical Sheraton tapering square-profiled legs. The timber used is of fine grain and a lovely colour and has a nice, even patination. The sides are panelled.
