Pair of 19th Century English Faux Rosewood Library Armchairs
A Pair of 19th Century English Faux Rosewood Library Armchairs.
The chairs with finely turned front legs, the basic form of which, in reverse, is then utilised for the arm supports as well. The back legs of the chairs are of S-shaped curved form. The chairs are grain painted throughout in imitation of rosewood and the paintwork survives in excellent original condition. We have stripped the chairs back to their hessian ready for upholstery.
