19th Century English Oak and Ash Farmhouse Table
An 18th Century English Oak and Ash Farmhouse Table.
Much rarer than their French equivalents, this fine farmhouse table is of excellent size and colour. The top has faded to a lovely golden colour and the frieze has a beautiful variation in colour and shade, from light to dark, making this a really attractive piece. There are two drawers in the frieze, both retaining their fine swans' neck handles and escutcheon plates. The top of the piece consists of three planks of ash, all finely figured.
A lovely piece of country furniture.
H 78cm x W 209cm x D 96cm
