A 19th Century English Oak Regency Style Armchair.
A shapely chair in the regency style with typical anthemion carving to the back rail, sabre form back legs and reeded front legs. There are also some unusual roundels. The arm supports are finely carved with the heads of mythical beasts, presumably dragons, with horns and scaly bodies which curve back to support the arm rests.
An unusual chair of good colour and large scale.
