19th Century French Painted Daybed

A 19th Century French Painted and Carved Daybed or Chaise Longue.
This pretty daybed retains its original blue and cream paint and the exceptional carving is in the rococo fashion. The pagoda form finials on each end are a particularly beautiful feature. The decoration is entirely made from carved wood, a sign of great quality. It is neat and delicate in design and execution and the piece stands beautifully.
It has been upholstered to an under finish, ready for the client's choice of final fabric. A squab cushion has also been made for it.
