18th Century George III English Mahogany & Burr Walnut Chest of Drawers.
Made in the George III period, c.1760, this chest of drawers has mahogany veneers and burr walnut panels on the drawer fronts, lower apron, and in bookmatched panels on the top and sides. The use of both walnut and mahogany on a piece of this date is unusual. The bracket feet have concealed castors. The drawers are oak lined.
