18th Century Oak Coffer

A nice style, 18th Century oak coffer. Having three fielded panels to the top with moulded edge, above three carved panels to the front. The hinged lid opens to reveal a small boxed compartment. There is a lock and key. The front has three heavily carved panels and surrounds with detailed patterns. Panelled sides and raised on stile feet.
Fabulous colour and patina. A useful, characterful piece of furniture that lived in our own home.
