A Small 19th Century English Burr Yew Writing Table.
This is a rare and functional antique, likely made by Wilkinson of Ludgate Hill. A pull-out reading and writing surface sits inside the top drawer. The drawer includes dedicated spaces for inkwells and pens and there are two unique, fold-out side flaps to hold candles. The lower tier is curved to offer extra legroom. The slim, tapered legs have their original castors. The piece features beautifully aged, high-quality wood veneer.
