19th Century English Oak Dresser Base

An Early 19th Century English Oak Dresser Base.
With three deep drawers and a planked top, this piece is of conventional form. The front legs are turned, contrasting with the plain square legs at the back. Each of the cockbeaded drawers has a turned handle of large scale. The timber used throughout is of fine rich colour with a good patination and attractive figuring. The sides of the piece are panelled.
