An unusual example of an early 19th Century English Regency period giltwood, circular convex mirror. Having nicely aged gilding and exceptional patination which needs to be seen to be appreciated.. The convex mirror plate has a large, carved pattern frame with an ebonised, reeded slip.
Convex mirrors not only have decorative appeal, but their deceptive plates also maximise light in interiors.
