An exceptional quality, 19th Century French oak breakfront bookcase/cabinet. Having a large moulded cornice with a central panel below, decorated with carved acanthus leaves. Four glazed doors flanked by carved columns with decorative tops. The interior shelving is adjustable. The lower half of the cabinet has a row of four small drawers, two fielded cupboard doors flanked by carved columns and a set of four drawers either side, having inset wooden pull handles. Set on a plinth base.
