George III Mahogany Serpentine Side/Serving Table
A fine George III serpentine side/serving table of excellent quality, having exceptional colour and patina and a very well figured mahogany top with shaped ends and two concealed frieze drawers. The central tablet is an inlaid panel, which is repeated on the drawers, of a finely inlaid design on a sycamore background. The Drawers are oak lined. The corners of the frieze have finely carved, flower head pattarae detail. Raised on very elegant turned tapering legs with a rope twist collar around the top. Stop fluting on the legs, standing on toupie feet.
