19th Century Mahogany Console/Side Table
Good 19th Century Regency console/side table, stamped by 'Gillows'. A rectangular top, with shallow up-stand, flanked with carved scrolled ends.
Having two frieze drawers and raised on well scrolled support legs, heavily carved with acanthus leaves and foliage.
Gillows of Lancaster and London, also known as Gillow & Co., was an English furniture making firm based in Lancaster, Lancashire, and in London. It was founded in Lancaster about 1730 by Robert Gillow.
