1920s French Painted Sofa

A very pretty, 1920s French painted sofa with its original paint and gilding. Having a rectangular padded back and small urn carving to the top rail. The arms have elbow pads and the arm supports are delicately carved with paterae and leaves. Turned and reeded front legs. Beautiful blue colour paint throughout.
Stripped out ready for upholstery.
