19th Century English Regency mahogany drum table with nice, old tooled leather top. The freize has four drawers alternating with four panels with ebonised moulding. Supported by a turned column and elegant base of four, splay legs, terminating in original brass castors.
Drum tables sometimes also known as 'rent tables' as it's believed that landlords used them as a desk for keeping accounts and collecting rent money.
