19th Century Anglo Indian Ebonised Teak Armchair

Early to mid, 19th Century Anglo Indian open armed, caned library chair. Having a hardwood ebonised and bold, deep reeded frame with a shaped back, reeded top rail and seat frame. Unusual arms with spiral terminals on turned fluted arm supports. The seat pad is a deep filled feather cushion, which can be upholstered. Raised on turned, tapering legs to the front and sabre legs at the rear.
A lovely sculptural chair that would nicely decorate any room. Circa 1840.
