18th Century Walnut and Ash Commode

Rare and unusual 18th Century walnut and ash two drawer, bow front commode. Having a nicely veneered walnut top with a moulded brass edging which overhangs the two long drawers with oval brass handles and brass lock escutcheons. The drawers are flanked by chamfered ash panels to the front with ebonised tablets at the top and bottom, inlaid with brass diamond motifs. Raised on square tapering legs with ebonised spade feet.
