19th Century Ebonised Bobbin Armchair

19th Century ebonised bobbin turned armchair. High spindle, bobbin turned back and arms with padded elbow rests. Standing on bobbin turned front legs and square outswept back legs, terminating on brass castors. Old metal bracket supports on the back of the chair to give it extra strength, not original although they have been there a very long time.
Stamped C Hindley & Son of London who were prominent furniture makers having a 'Royal Warrant of Appointment' and premises on Oxford Street.
Upholstered by us in our workshops in antique Linen.
