19th Century English Regency Rosewood Centre Table
An English Regency Rosewood and Simulated Rosewood Centre Table, Circa 1820.
The circular rosewood veneered top with moulded edge is raised on a tapering quadrangular pedestal with simulated rosewood decoration and applied gilt brass anthemion, above a platform base issuing four boldly swept sabre legs. The legs terminate in finely unusual cast brass castor caps, with acorns and leaves.
